Description
This 1954 Kaiser Darrin roadster is finished in red over a black interior and was once owned by Kaiser Darrin collector Bob Adams. This example is powered by the original 2.6-liter L-head Straight-6 engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission with a fourth-gear overdrive. Out of the 435 originally produced, only 50 were red. The brightwork shows well, and the Kaiser rides on Firestone whitewall tires with spoke wheels. This car has been sorted mechanically, including redone brakes, rebuilt carburetor and full tune-up, along with a new gas tank. The body, paint, undercoating and interior have been refreshed. It is equipped with the original patented pocket doors.
