Details
This custom 5-window 1951 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck is a professional frame-off build with an eye toward street performance. It is powered by a 502/502hp GM high-performance V8 engine with Ram Jet fuel injection and Hooker custom-built headers. The engine is mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a 2500-rpm stall converter and a 9-inch Ford rear end with 3.70 gears. The custom-built Roadster Shop chassis was engineered to handle the power. It is equipped with rack & pinion steering
and 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The suspension features Heidts independent front suspension with coilovers on the front and rear. The exterior is painted with a custom Dupont-mix red paint with a 3-inch chop and shaved door handles. The red and tan leather interior features a 1955 Bel Air custom dash with classic gauges, Billet steering column, Vintage Air, power seats and windows, Alpine sound system, and custom red LED lighting throughout. It rides on custom-built Raceline wheels with 20-inch fronts and 22-inch rears wrapped in new Falken tires.
