An era-defining 911 and the last of the air-cooled 911 Turbos, this body style of the 911 is internally known as the 993. Bridging the gap between modern technology and classic engineering, the 993 featured several firsts for the 911 and was the beneficiary of trickle-down technology from Porsche's flagship 959 supercar. The 993 was the first 911 Turbo to feature twin turbochargers and deliver power via an all-wheel drive system. Finished in Guards Red, this example is one of 1,297 sold in the

U.S. for the 1996 model year. The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-6 engine develops 408hp and routes power through a 6-speed manual transmission. The 911 Turbo can sprint to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and blast through the quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds. This example features a black full leather interior with sunroof and was previously displayed in the Porsche Cars North America Museum. In 2018, the consignor had extensive servicing performed including having the engine disassembled, inspected and resealed, resealing of the Turbos and waste gates, installation of a new updated wiring harness, and a complete clutch replacement.
