This custom 1968 Ford Shelby GT500E fastback, with its Carroll Shelby-autographed dashboard, was purchased 'new' in 2005 from Unique Performance of Texas. Unique and Shelby collaborated on Shelby GT500E continuation cars built and sold by Unique. This car's Unique serial number is CSE 028, and it was delivered in August 2005. The car is finished in Diamond Blue with white Rally stripes and a black interior. It is powered by a DC&O electronic fuel-injected 408ci Shelby-tuned small-block engine

rated at 475hp mated to a TREMEC T5 5-speed manual transmission with a posi-traction differential and a 3.25:1 gear 9-inch rear end. The engine features MSD ignition control and a Griffin Performance aluminum crossflow radiator. It is equipped with additional Shelby American equipment, including Shelby-embroidered leather seats, Shelby signature gauges, Shelby-supplied emblems and Shelby knock-off center wheels. This car has an aftermarket Sony CD stereo, a Lecarra wood-trimmed 15-inch steering wheel, power steering, an Oldair Products TS Hurricane air-conditioning system, and 4-wheel slotted and cross-drilled disc brakes. The suspension features coilovers in the front and rear and Shelby-style traction bars.
