This custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Resto-Mod is finished in Smoke Silver over black with a black vinyl top. This first-year Camaro RS/SS was built in Norwood, OH, during the third week of November 1967 and has been treated to a complete nut-and-bolt restoration, including removal of the body from the frame for a full sandblasting. It is powered by a GM Performance 430hp LS3 crate engine with an engine control pack, stainless-steel headers and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with an 18-inch electric fan, all mated to a Keisler TKO600 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch and Hurst shifter. It is equipped with Detroit Speed mini-tubs. This Camaro has a narrowed Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.89 gears, all-new Painless wiring and an All American Billet serpentine system. Its stance is provided by RideTech adjustable coilover suspension on all four corners, with TCI torque arm rear suspension and a TCI IFS front clip with 2-inch drop spindles. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood slotted and drilled 13-inch rotors in the front and rear, with Wilwood 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. It features front and rear spoilers, power steering and power brakes. This Camaro rolls on Forgeline 5-spoke wheels that measure 18 inches in front and 19 inches in the rear with Nitto NTOS 245/40R-18 tires in the front and 335/30ZR-19 tires in the rear. It has a black interior with bucket seats and is equipped with new glass, carpet, headliner, door panels and seat covers, along with a Vintage Air Gen IV Magnum system. It also features a billet aluminum Budnik steering wheel and hidden stereo system. Over $30,000 was recently spent on a new GM Performance LS3 V8 engine, among other details. This example has the original RS trim and has been optioned with a tinted windshield, rear antenna and Rally Sport equipment. A big 3-ring binder with all the documentation on the parts used and the work performed comes with the car, which has had a total of almost $140,000 invested into it.
