Details
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible was completed in September 2022 by Ken Sungela of Custom Restorations LLC. It is powered by a new GM LS3 engine producing 500hp mated to a new 4L70E transmission. The car rides on an Art Morrison Corvette GT Sport chassis, with Wilwood polished brakes featuring drilled and slotted rotors. The red exterior paint is complemented by a black Haartz Stayfast top. Interior features include power steering, a remote-operated hood actuator, a Vintage Air system, power windows, Dakota Digital RTX gauges with programmable LED lighting via your cell phone, a Billet Specialties steering wheel, a Lokar polished shifter and a chrome Ididit steering column. The Whiskey Brown interior features a soft leather-covered dash, carbon-fiber inlays, custom door panels with polished stainless-steel trim and seats with contrasting stitching. The original radio was fitted with new electronics and provides Bluetooth connectivity. The car rolls on 18-inch front and 19-inch rear Schott Fuel wheels wrapped with red line performance tires.
