This 1965 Buick Riviera GS is rust-free, laser-straight and has been refinished in its factory colors of Flame Red with a black deluxe interior. It is powered by its original matching-numbers LX-code 425ci V8 Super Wildcat engine producing 360hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque, mated to its original BS-coded automatic transmission with a variable pitch torque converter. Buick Gran Sports were factory-equipped with dual-quad Carter carburetors, aluminum valve covers and a chrome dual-snorkel air

cleaner. The one-year-only retractable headlights function like new. This Rivera comes equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, a posi-traction rear differential and an A9 body. Introduced in 1963, the Riviera was a luxury car from day one, initiated by legendary stylist Bill Mitchell. It features covered headlamps, mild trim changes and the chiseled-edged body, along with factory dual 4-barrel carburetors, cast aluminum valve covers, a chrome dual snorkel air cleaner, oversize 2.25-inch dual exhaust and a hydraulic cam. The A9 Handling Package features a short-ratio 15.1 steering option with heavy-duty shocks, slightly lowered factory sport stance and stiffer bushings for the Panhard bar. It rides on factory deluxe wheels and is equipped with a power trunk release, a Wonder Bar radio, cruise control, tilt steering, a deluxe interior, bucket seats, a center console and a four-tone horn accessory mounted to bottom of the hood.
