This 1962 Ford Thunderbird convertible has undergone a complete professional comprehensive restoration, paying attention to detail. Several modifications were completed. It's finished in a shade of light silver-blue. It has extensive chrome and stainless brightwork and rides on a set of chrome Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. In addition to the restoration work, a sports roadster-style tonneau cover has been added, along with modern upgrades, such as a set of LED headlamps. Complementing the paintwork is a fully restored interior that includes bucket seats, a swing-away steering column and fluted-alloy inserts on the dash and console. It is equipped with electric windows, power steering and power brakes, and the big convertible top is electrically operated. Inside the engine bay sits a Ford 390ci FE-series V8 engine topped with dual 3x2 Tri-Pack carburetor that mirror the setup of the factory Sports Roadsters. The engine has been detailed and dressed up and is mated to an automatic transmission.
