This 1953 Ford F-100 50th Anniversary truck has undergone a body-off full restoration. At its heart is a freshly rebuilt Ford 429ci engine bored 30-over with Edelbrock Performer RPM 460 aluminum heads. A reverse hood tilt kit is used to display this big-block, and its additional myriad of new performance parts utilized. These include a March serpentine drive kit with pulleys, a COMP Cam, Edelbrock water pump/intake, 460 pan, 750 CFM double-pump carburetor, and ARP fasteners and NPT fittings used throughout. The 429ci block itself was bored and honed 30 over, sonic-tested and balanced with a reground crank. New bearings were fitted, along with frost plugs, Eagle I-beam rods, ARP studs, and SRP rings and pistons. This 429- 30 over fires up via a Powermaster high-torque starter, electric fuel pump and an MSD billet distributor with its wires kept tidy by a billet wiring loom. It is then married to a rebuilt C6 automatic transmission by SRM Performance with a transmission cooler and Hughes finned pan for added cooling. At its rear is a Ford Detroit Locker 9-inch rear end. To keep things cool, there is a custom-built Industrial Chassis aluminum radiator, custom recovery tank and Coolflex hoses. Furthermore, plumbed off this well-crafted engine are ceramic-coated polished headers mated to a stainless-steel exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. The F100 then sits atop its original chassis with custom boxed and tubular reinforced rails, powder-coated black. A Pro's Pick stainless-steel IFS and Strange adjustable coilovers are utilized up front and a TCI 4 bar-link is used at the rear. Stopping power is finished with stainless-steel brake lines, a billet aluminum reservoir, proportioning valve and disc brakes on all four corners. Finishing the ride are Boyd Junkyard Dog 18x8s on the front and 20x10s on the rear. It also benefits from a new Optima gel-pack battery, custom billet aluminum hold-down tray and is complete with a vehicle hidden kill switch for added security. Details include additional 50th Anniversary emblems in the door panels, billet aluminum armrests, Phipps billet aluminum courtesy lights, Lokar pedals, an Ididit polished aluminum tilt column and stainless-steel dash trim and sill covers. The banjo steering wheel is provided by Grant, and a new Lokar handbrake with trim ring and stainless-steel door looms were outfitted. Road noise is kept at a minimum with B-Quiet insulation and comfort is provided by Glide Engineering seat frames. It also has power windows that utilize the original window cranks from Hotronics, a Lokar slender gooseneck shifter, a concealed power rear window and a Vintage Air system. The dash is appointed with AutoMeter Arctic White gauges installed with tach and clock. Autosound Secret Audio controls the audio system with remote and an 8-inch slim Pioneer sub-woofer with Clarion speakers and Clarion amp finishes the sound system. It has new door seals, rubber gaskets and window felts. The exterior is completely restored and trimmed with all new parts, the rear fenders are stretched 3 inches and tubbed, the side grille vents/gas filler door are filled, and the front headlights have been frenched. The running boards feature stainless-steel strips, and the box features billet aluminum taillamp brackets, LED brake lights within the rolled box ends, a wooden bed topped with a painted to match Pro's Pick power hardtop tonneau cover. All lights have been upgraded to LED for modern illumination, yet concealed under factory-style glass lenses, maintaining a factory look. Three large books accompany the sale containing all receipts, restoration, instruction manuals and documentation history pertaining to this 1953 Ford F-100. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
