Details
Based on many vehicle types and known by many different names and acronyms, side-by-sides (SxS), utility task vehicles (UTV) or recreational off-road vehicles (ROV) have taken the Powersports marketplace by storm over the past few decades. Their stature in off-road racing has grown to boot, including a special class for them in the Dakar Rally and SCORE events. With their constantly increasing performance and the ability to handle virtually any terrain and driving conditions nature can possibly
dish out, these popular recreational vehicles are supported by a wide range of aftermarket parts and component suppliers, and most importantly, professionals to repair, upgrade and support them. Known as 'Rona, an incredibly fun way to get outdoors and away from it all, this already well-equipped and capable 2020 Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo S was built and comprehensively upgraded by the professionals at Arizona's TMW Off-Road for the 'Destination Polaris' TV show (2020, Episode 9). Completely tricked out for fast rides in rough country, this Polaris RZR crawls rocks with much higher suspension travel and ground clearance, thanks to the Shock Therapy Ride Improvement System, special coilover shocks and sway bar brace, plus Walker Evans sway bar links. The HCR Dual Sort Turbo S suspension kit adds much beefier chassis components. The new roll cage plus integral rear bumper was designed and built by TMW Off-Road, heightening structure and safety. An upgraded turbocharger adds nearly 70hp to the already potent RZR power plant — especially useful while rock crawling. Upgraded with no expense spared and far too many features and upgrades to fully list, the RZR's highlights include upgraded XTC switches and wiring, Triple X seats, Crow harnesses, Factory UTV skid plates, a winch, Baja Designs accessory lighting, Metal FX wheels, BFGoodrich 35-inch tires and Wolf Designs custom paint. Topping it all, the audiophile-quality Rockford Fosgate stereo system was designed specifically for the RZR. Just 56 miles of use are reported by the seller, and this wild RZR has not seen any additional off-road use after filming for TV, remaining a true showpiece ever since. From The Flying Marlin Collection.
