Built on April 13, 1970, at the Dodge Main Plant in Hamtramck, MI, this real 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda AAR was fully customized in the early 2000s. The body is all-original sheet metal and finished in PPG Yellow base coat and clear coat. The rear has been tubbed with Mickey Thompson 31x18.5x15 Sportsman tires, along with Mickey Thompson ET Front Runners. The AAR 'Cuda features a fiberglass HEMI Super Stock hood and Pro Mod-style rear wing. Power is generated by a Ray Barton Racing Engine's 360ci Mopar V8 bored .030 over. The V8 features Super Competition Hooker headers, a 12.5:1 compression ratio, full roller motor, Barry Grant 775 cfm carburetor, MSD ignition and Griffin aluminum radiator. In all, the engine develops 500hp at 6,200 rpm and routes 480 ft/lbs of torque through a 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission with 4.10:1 gear ratio, a reverse manual valve body, narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end and Auburn Pro Series posi-traction unit. For suspension this 'Cuda features Richmond coilovers with ladder bars and KONI drag shocks. A set of Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes bring the Mopar to a halt, and the engine roars thanks to a Borla exhaust. The interior maintains its original bucket seats, covered in tan tweed, along with the dashboard, door panels and headliner, all recovered in tweed. A Grant GT steering wheel, AM/FM/CD player with custom speakers and amplifier are also installed. The engine is fed by a fuel cell and the battery has been relocated to the trunk. Original Fender Tag included; when decoded, this car was born as a real 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda.
