This 1967 Shelby GT500 is just out of the shop. Powered by a 1971 427ci side-oiler service engine with LeMans rods and valve covers, mid-riser heads and dual 4-barrel carburetors. It has been inspected and resealed with a detailed engine bay. A big-spline Toploader 4-speed manual transmission has been also inspected and resealed. Both the underbody and chassis have been detailed. The maintenance history on this vehicle extends back to 1986, with copies of documents dating as far back as 1978. Included is a document noting a dealer-installed air conditioning unit that, when new in 1967, was in for only a short time period. This 427ci side-oiler-powered GT500 was featured in Mustang Monthly, June 1989 edition, and is in the Shelby World Registry. It comes with a complete and documented history.
