This 1956 Ford Sunliner convertible is an older restoration, powered by a 312ci V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Recent work completed includes triple 97 carbs with progressive linkage, an electronic distributor, rebuilt power steering, aftermarket seat belts and an aftermarket temp gauge installed under the dash. It does still need to be sorted out as the engine has an oil leak. It has Ford wire wheels covers and new radial whitewall tires. Includes original parts. The car was purchased from New York Times best-selling author, the late Clive Cussler. There is documentation with the car, including his title, signed correspondence, and signed page featuring the car in his coffee table book, 'Built to Thrill'.
