Description
This 1999 Ford Thunderbird prototype is equipped with a Lincoln 4.6-liter V8 engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission There were only three ever made, and this is the only one released to the public. The Thunderbird prototype was first shown at the 1999 Detroit Auto Show on January 3, 1999, then this black beauty appeared at Pebble Beach in August and next at the International Auto Show in Frankfurt, Germany, in September 1999. It was such a hit that Ford approved the design, and the car was introduced in the 2002 model year. This concept is unique and is built on a Lincoln LS platform with a front-mounted Lincoln V8 and rear drive. It has a 1-inch-longer wheelbase than production models, and a steeply raked windshield gives it a more aggressive style. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE**
