This SEMA display car is by Mitch Henderson Designs. 'TEC 9' is well-thought-out by a handful of skilled craftsmen with numerous one-off handcrafted pieces. Refinished in November 2019 in Candy Red paint and color-sanded to a brilliant mirror finish with bronze accents, this Camaro shows like a piece of jewelry. It features a professionally custom-built Don Hardy 427ci V8 LS7 fully polished engine with numerous upgrades backed by a TREMEC Hi Gear T56 6-speed manual transmission. It rides on a

custom-built frame with a narrowed 6-inch track width in front with upper and lower Corvette C6 A-arms. The rear consists of a narrowed 9-inch Ford rear with an aluminum Strange center section and a custom 4-link coilover setup with a Jerry Bickle adjustable rear sway bar. Stopping power comes from a Hydroboost power setup with Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, all rolling on custom Bonspeed wheels. Electric adjustable power steering helps control this Camaro. The interior is custom-made and features black and tan leather seats and door panels with a custom console, custom-made gauges and hidden switches. Everything is controlled via the Infinitybox system through an iPad or iPhone. It has its own monitor and system built into the dash that controls the lights, temperature, stereo, windows, doors and custom sound system. Some of the body modifications include front and rear flush-mounted windows, shaved door handles and drip moldings, custom rear belly pan, widened upper quarter-panel seams, aluminum under-hood insert, custom bead rolled hood panels, custom front and rear spoilers, recessed and shortened bumpers, custom grille and side louvers. The car's name, TEC 9, has been incorporated into many items on the car, including one-off badges, wheels center caps and gauges. This custom Camaro was unveiled and featured at SEMA.
