Details
This 1966 Mustang Custom Fastback Shelby GT350 re-creation has 500 miles since the completion of its high-quality build. It’s powered by a professionally built 302ci V8 engine bored .030 over with Edelbrock aluminum heads, forged 10.1 pistons, Melling MTF-1 cam, Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. A Shelby dress kit and polished aluminum front drive belt system highlight the engine bay. The engine is paired to a C4 automatic transmission featuring a shift kit, 8-inch rear axle with
posi-traction and Currie 3.44 gears. Tri-Y headers, exhaust pipe and Flowmaster mufflers with custom exhaust tips were installed. It rides on new high-tech suspension with a Borgeson steering box. A polished aluminum radiator helps keep the engine cool. The laser-straight sheet metal is finished in Sole Red with Ingrid Silver stripes and features a fiberglass hood with scoop, GT front driving lights and dual outside racing mirrors. All the chrome and stainless is new or polished. The Pony interior features Vintage Air and new wiring. This vehicle has its original black plate and rides on polished Shelby 427 wheels, 17X7' front and 17X8' rear.
