Details
Custom-built 1953 Ford F-100 Resto-Mod truck crafted by blending modern and classic styles. Over 1,500 hours went into building this one-of-a-kind Ford truck. The beautifully detailed engine bay houses the 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine and a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission. The earth-pounding sound comes from the custom-fabricated exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. Stopping power for this truck comes from Wilwood Hydro-Boost brakes, with six-piston calipers in front and four-piston in the rear.
All four corners are equipped with 14-inch drilled and slotted rotors, and the master cylinder is by Wilwood. Modern drivability comes from a custom-fabricated square-tube frame that has been reinforced to handle all the power. The Mustang II front end, in addition to a e-Level AccuAir air-ride system, Universal air bags, 5-gallon air tank and pearl white Air Zenith air compressor allow this vehicle to sit on the ground when parked. The 8.8-inch geared rear end has bronze-colored Chassisworks four-link and Panhard bars that keep the rear end planted to the ground. Nitto tires wrap around bronze and black U.S. Mags wheels. Rear fenders have been widened 3 inches and mini-tubbed. A 20-gallon aluminum fuel tank and Optima RedTop battery are tucked under the handcrafted custom-build black oak bed with boltless bronze oversized metal fabricated slats. All turn signals and brake lights are modern LED. The front end has been metal-shaped to delete the front bumper, and a metal-built roll pan has been added. Harley-Davidson headlights have been added to the one-off custom front end. The exterior is finished in a two-stage PPG Blue Steel satin paint and three coats of clear. A 2013 Mustang interior has been morphed into the cab of the truck to re-create a modern look and drivability. The interior is complete with genuine black leather seats and white cross-stitching, along with Ringbrothers-designed billet window cranks and door handles. There is a Kenwood head unit in the factory dash, as well as a Mustang GT cluster, steering wheel, center console and glove box. The interior is black and bronze, complementing the truck’s beautiful exterior. This truck also includes Rockford Fosgate speakers and amplifier. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
