Details
This 1936 Ford 3-window custom coupe was rebuilt in 2004. It is powered by a Chevrolet 383ci V8 engine with Edelbrock performance heads and carburetors. The engine is mated to a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter and a Currie 9-inch rear end featuring 3.73 gears. It features a Corvette master cylinder and booster, with front and rear disc brakes. It rides on a SAC suspension with Alden coilovers. The exterior is finished in black, and the car features its original Ford Motor Company steel, rumble seat and roll-down rear window. The custom interior features palomino leather, Mercedes caramel wool, and a Custom Autosound XM satellite radio and CD player. It rides on 15-inch Smith wheels with chrome steel Ford hubcaps, wrapped in Dayton R/15 whitewall tires. This car was featured in Rod and Custom and Street Rodder magazines in June 2005 in recaps of the 56th Grand National Roadster Show.
