Details

This hand-built 1932 Ford “Deuce Flyer” started with a Brookville body with countless subtle body modifications. Detroit Autorama Great 8 winner and Goodguys America's Most Beautiful Street Rod winner. A 10-year build by the Roadster Shop in collaboration with customer and highly accomplished inventor/engineer Al Nagle, who passed away in 2018. His design and engineering skills were put to work on thousands of one-off custom components throughout the “Deuce Flyer.” The car was drawn and

designed to scale by Nagle with intricate hand-drawn blueprints of each and every mechanical component. The custom Roadster Shop chassis has twin aluminum saddle gas tanks bellypanned into the chassis. Hand-stitched leather monoleaf spring cover connected to smoothed five-inch drop tube axle. One-off 9-inch quick-change-style IRS rear suspension. Original electronically controlled Ford Winterfront grille. Powered by a 550hp LS3 V8 engine converted to dual quads. Every inch of the engine is highly detailed, smoothed, and covered in custom details and machined parts. TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission with custom machined shifter and wood shift knob. Bodywork and paint by the world-famous Charlie Hutton. Leather interior by Steve Pearson of Upholstery Unlimited. Handmade lift-off top with chrome inner structure wrapped in exotic bubinga hardwood CNC-machined roof bows. Gullwing hinged side glass mounted on gas struts are easily removable with chrome thumbscrews. Hidden Bluetooth stereo system and under-dash heater with all plumbing routed though the frame rails of the car. Machined low-profile windshield stations with flush hidden hardware and laid-back curved glass windshield. Way too many details to mention. This was a passion project that spanned over a decade with the best of the best in the hot rod industry all involved. Awards not included. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
