Details

This 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Resto-Mod, nicknamed “Striker,” is a multiple-award-winning ISCA show car that took 9,500 hours to build. Every part of the body has been modified. The rocker panels are extended 2” to connect and become smooth with the frame rails, it has shaved drip rails, door handles, locks and side markers, the front and rear bumpers are tucked, smoothed and welded to the body, it has a custom-designed front splitter and air dam, and the front fenders are extended downward 2”.

It also features flush-mount front and rear windshields, new Auto Metal Direct side glass, new Nu-Relics power windows and custom-designed Epic Lighting headlamps up front with DIGI-TAILS taillights in back. After its modification, the body was finished in Matrix custom-mixed paint with ghosted-in HEMI billboards on the sides. Under the hood, resting in the completely smoothed engine compartment is a 6.1-liter SRT modern HEMI engine with Magnuson supercharged that’s followed by a Nag 1 automatic transmission out of a 2009 Challenger. A set of 4-wheel Brembo brakes from a 2009 Challenger supply each corner with stopping power and are connected to fully polished stainless-steel brake lines that attach to an articulated under-dash brake pedal and master cylinder assembly. Underneath is a Mopar 8-3/4” narrowed rear end with triangulated 4-link, Strange axles with 3.91 Sure-Grip and a two-piece driveshaft. This custom ‘Cuda sits on an Art Morrison chassis and suspensions that feature a RideTech air-ride system, RideTech ShockWaves from front to rear, and a Ride Pro and Level Pro system with AirPod, providing an aggressive stance on the 18x17” front and 20x15” rear Foose Nitrous II wheels shod in Mickey Thompson rubber. The entirety of the red and black interior is customized and features a complete Kicker audio system that is grafted into the red and black custom interior panels, and a complete VDO gauge system grafted into the custom dash. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
