Details

This 1962 Bel Air Bubble Top, designed by Ralph Holguin and built by the team of RMD Garage, was featured on Velocity and is a definite showstopper. The work and the hours that transformed this Bubble Top Bel Air into a fully custom masterpiece is evident. Sitting on a powder-coated Art Morrison sport chassis, with 4-link JRI coilover suspension and rack & pinion power steering, this custom ride is powered by a cammed LS3 engine with 555hp and 4L60E 5-speed automatic transmission with a custom

driveshaft. This car features custom modifications throughout, including an all-aluminum re-designed front, custom Billet hinges on the hood and trunk, and a breathtaking engine bay. It also features custom-fabricated belly pans, embedded bumpers and pocketed sunk-in LED taillights. The custom, one-of-a-kind interior is a modern masterpiece, with its custom floating center console, Classic Instruments digital dash, a 21st-century Corvette steering wheel, custom Vintage Air vents and a fully customized trunk. No expense was spared while building this custom ride. Every nut and bolt has been replaced, and over 1,000 hours put into the body and fabrication to transform this Bubble Top, named “Sanity,” into what it is today. It is finished in BASF brilliant Roman Red and a Galaxy Gray satin finish and has 14” Wilwood Brakes, a custom tubbed rear end to allow that 12” lip on those 22” Raceline wheels, red ceramic-coated Borla exhaust that is custom outfitted to run through the rear bumper and modern seamless-finished flush-mounted glass by AM Hot Rod Glass. This truly is a one-of-one, fully-modernized custom 1962 Bubbletop. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
