Details
This car was built by father and son team Sam and Chip Foose. A spectacular all Metal 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe. It is tastefully modified with a chopped top, laid back windshield, single piece 1948 Ford rear window, 1939 suicide Tudor-sedan doors, forward slanted B pillars, peaked hood and front fenders. Frenched 1939 Ford headlights, nosed decked with trademark 'Foose Built' side moldings. It's equipped with a Mustang II Independent front suspension. The car has less than 100 miles since a
complete restoration including repaint, rebuilt engine, transmission and rear end. The engine is a 383 cubic inch small block Chevy with aluminum heads and dual quad Rochester carburetors. The transmission is a 700R4 with a ford 9 inch posi rear end. The interior was designed by Chip Foose and executed in black and grey leather by Gabe Lopez Documentation includes a signed original letter from Sam Foose detailing the build. The dash has been signed by Chip Foose.
