This stunning R-code Mach 1 is powered by a 428ci CJ engine with a close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. It has undergone a five-year, museum-quality restoration using original, new old stock and only the best components available. It has all-original sheet metal, excellent solid factory-installed original floors and trunk. The exterior is finished in the original factory color Grabber Orange. This Mach 1 is part-number and date-code correct. Factory options include black hood stripe, 3.00
Traction-Lok rear axle, F70x14 belted tires with raised white letters, power front disc brakes, power steering, AM radio, tinted glass and tachometer. Of the 2,501 Mach 1 428CJ Mustangs built, only 1,371 had close-ratio 4-speed transmissions, and only 126 of those were painted Grabber Orange. Of those, this is the only one that came from the factory with no evaporative emission system, as documented by the Elite Marti Report included with this sale.
