Originally owned by Hollywood producer Jack Warner (Warner Bros.), this is one of seven built by Freestone & Webb with design #3.191. It has a known ownership history from 1955 until the present day. The car became available in 1990 after the passing of Jack Warner's wife, Ann Page Alvarado Warner. Vantage Motorworks purchased the car from the Warner estate sale in 1990 and shortly after performed a complete restoration.
