This laser-straight original California Black Plate car went through a major, total restoration. It was stripped down to bare metal and sanded and smoothed to perfection. The side marker lights have been filled and then the car was meticulously painted this beautiful Corvette Millennium Yellow with thick layers of clear coat to ensure it has a perfect, flawless shine. by a GM Performance ZZ 502 crate motor with well over 500hp, ceramic coated Hooker Super Competition headers, 3' Mandrel bent exhaust with Flowmaster 40s and balance tube help to make massive amounts of amazing torque. Mated up to this massive power plant is a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-Speed transmission with hydraulic Street Comp clutch kit, Quick Time SFI scatter shield and 3.5' aluminum driveshaft coupled to a Currie 9+ rear end with Trak-Loc posi, 4.11 rear gears and 31-spline shafts. It also has a Be Cool 4-core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans together with a high flow aluminum water pump and a March Performance aluminum serpentine belt drive system finish out the engine bay. It has a Hotchkis TVS (Total Vehicle Suspension) system, and stops on a dime with a 4-wheel disc brake set-up using Wilwood components with drilled and slotted rotors upfront. Other upgrades/features include: custom upholstered Mercedes leather interior, Flaming River tilt column and custom steering wheel, Clayton Machine shifter arm, custom fabricated console plate, Auto Meter gauge package, aluminum throttle, brake and clutch pedals and all new weather-stripping throughout. The original bumpers, bezels and trim have been rechromed to like-new condition. Fesler billet aluminum hood hinges, undercover innovations show panel, 20-gallon aluminum gas tank, Optima Red top battery with chrome plated cover, custom 17' Ridler wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber.
