Details
Purchased in North Carolina, this car sat in a garage for 15 years. The rotisserie restoration includes correct color with correct interior color. The original radio was converted to AM/FM stereo. The original manual transmission and 3.50-ratio posi-traction rear were rebuilt. The original 427 engine and heads were upgraded to a greater high-performance standard that includes the block being bored 17 over 10.5 with Arias pistons, Ford LeMans rods, 10 under original crank, Precision high-volume
oil pump, 1/4' billet drive, Shaffer aluminum flywheel, Centerforce clutch set, balanced and blueprinted and assembled with ARP bolts. The heads have stainless valves and hardened seats. Comp roller mechanical cam kit 33-7819, roller rockers, Smith Bros. 3/8' pushrods, Rollmaster timing chain with Torrington cam plate assembly and cosmetic head gasket. The original dual point distributer was converted to PerTronix. The original carburetors were rebuilt by Holley. Aluminum Kool water pump. It runs great on high-test gas from the local gas station. It features correct dog dish hubcaps on correct 15' Kelsey Hayes steel wheels and original-type tires. Also included are 4 original 15' Spinner hub caps for show purposes.
