This stunning, yellow, Pro-Touring Impala Super Sport SS convertible was the recipient of a frame-off restoration with a high-tech suspension and drivetrain. It is powered by a modern, aluminum Corvette LS2 engine with mild modifications backed to a GM 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission tied to a Ford 9' rear. It sports a custom, gray, hammer-milled powdered coated chassis, suspension consist of Hotchkiss tubular control arms, upgraded sway bars, coilover shocks and polyurethane bushings and
custom Bonspeed 18' front and 20' rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires, 4-wheel disc brakes with large Wilwood calipers and slotted and drilled rotors, Wilwood dual diaphragm booster and master cylinder and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keep things cool. Finished in Bright Yellow with a black top and white interior, other options include, power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, power top, power windows, bucket seats with console, Dakota Digital gauges, HID headlights. It has a detailed undercarriage and engine bay with finished trunk area. It was built and produced at the Los Angeles, CA plant in 1963 as the 'L' in the VIN denotes.
