Details
This is probably one the rarest collector trucks out there. It was built by Diamond T Company in Chicago, IL. An actual brick from the factory building goes to the new owner. Diamond T mainly built big trucks like fire trucks. They built a very limited amount of these one-ton pickup trucks. They were very expensive compared to other pickup trucks available in the '40s. This one has had a total body-off restoration on an already solid truck, with great attention to all the details. It has a
highly detailed chassis and engine compartment as well as beautiful body and paintwork. The Hercules counter-balanced inline 6-cylinder L-head engine has 91hp with a Warner T-9 4-speed transmission. The cab interior is restored extremely well from dash instruments to upholstery and also has a factory-build locking toolbox under passenger door, dual crank-out windshields, flare canister, cab lights and deluxe chrome trim.
