This beautiful 1935 Ford Roadster Ute is stunning. This is an all-steel body, smooth sleek lines. Completely restored in 2004, very well built by a well know local Hot Rodder. Purchased from Australia and brought back to life in 2004. The body, custom paint, custom pinstriping, custom leather interior, convertible top and wood inserts. It features an automatic with a V8 Flathead, dual Stromberg 97 carbs, Edelbrock intake and Mallory electronic ignition system. It is rare to see another one

around as so few were produced, the production ceased in 1938. The history of the Ford Utes came about as a result of a 1932 letter from the wife of a farmer in Victoria, Australia to Ford Australia asking for a vehicle to go to church on a Sunday and which can carry our pigs to market on Mondays. In response, Ford designer Lew Bandt developed a vehicle based on the client's request and the model (called a 'coupe utility' at the time) was released in 1934. A convertible version, known as the roadster utility was produced in limited numbers by Ford in the 1930s. It comes with a full photo album of the restoration process. A lot of time, money and hard work were put into this beauty. This rare classic runs and drives excellent.
