One family owned from 1972-2013. This FJ-40 has spent almost its entire life in the high desert of California, New Mexico and Utah. It truly is a very clean example. The family kept detailed receipts during their ownership which are now in a three-ring binder included in the sale. Included in the sale are owner's manuals and repair manuals. The original owner added an auxiliary fuel tank and power steering. This FJ-40 has new glass, new stainless hardware, new paint in the factory color, lots of
new rubber items, professional rebuild of the original engine, new correct factory wheels, newly powder coated correct color front and rear bumpers, seat frames, wheels and five new tires. New correct interior seat foam and upholstery, removal of primary gas tank, vatted, new sender gasket and repainted, and new center tunnel seals. It also has the rear heater which has been pressure tested and refinished, rebuilt carburetor, exhaust manifold bead blasted and high temp coated, intake manifold bead blasted and cleared.
