The 1971 BOSS 351 Mustang was the last of the true muscle cars. It replaced both the BOSS 302 and BOSS 429 from the previous two years as the performance Mustang in 1971. The BOSS 351 Cleveland engine stocked 330 horsepower and featured a 4-bolt main block, large port cylinder heads and valves, a solid lifter camshaft, an 11.7:1 compression ratio and aluminum valve covers. It was fed through a special Dual Ram Induction system. A 4-speed top loader with Hurst shifter, 3.91:1 rear axle, 9'
differential with Traction-Lok, competition suspension with staggered shocks, special cooling package, and power front disc brakes completed the BOSS 351 mechanical upgrade package. This special car is equipped with the factory options of power steering, deluxe rim blow steering wheel, console, tinted glass, and Magnum 500 wheels. The Marti Report documentation shows this car as the only 1971 Mustang built this way. This is a true and documented one of one production vehicle that was just professionally restored to quality original condition.
