Details

This is a 1970 fastback Mustang that has been turned into a one of a kind custom Resto-Mod creation. A complete ground-up restoration has been completed by its current owner with less than 800 miles since completion. Started with a rust-free California car then transformed into the incredible street machine you see here. Engine was professionally built by Larry's Engine and Marine speed shop in Tucson, AZ. Started with a New Dart racing Windsor block and installed a Scat Forged 427 stroker kit, Mahle forged pistons, Edelbrock aluminum 205 heads with custom flow bench work, Comp Gold roller rockers, aluminum Cobra oil pan, MSD billet ignition, Edelbrock Air gap intake, 770 Holley Carburetor and FPA custom built headers. Exhaust is all custom Mandrel bent tubing with Flow master Super 44's. Custom built aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine dynoed at 510hp and 525ft/lbs of torque on a mild tune. Engine build and dyno spec sheets comes with the sale of the car. The transmission is a new TKO 600 5-speed and 10.5' Kevlar 26 spline clutch with hydraulic actuator all from Modern Driveline Inc. Front suspension is all Total Control Products with tubular control arms and fully adjustable coilovers. New rack & pinion steering system from Randal's Rack-n-Pinion. New, heavy duty 9' rear end with Strange 3.73 posi-traction third member assembly and 31 spline axles. 4.5' mid-eye lowering springs with Cal-Trac rear end stabilizers and Heidts sub frame connectors. Four-wheel disc brakes from Wilwood with 13' drilled and slotted rotors with red four piston calipers. Glenn's performance sleeper fuel tank with complete Magna electric fuel system with return. Interior is all new with rear sport deck fold down optional seat. All interior flooring completely Dyno-matted from front to rear. All new electronic gauge and cluster assembly from New Vintage Instrumentation. Wheels are a custom built set of 18' Mini-lite wheels from Team Three Wheels wrapped with Nitto 555R tires. The car comes with a full photo documentation of the entire restoration as well as every receipt for the parts put on this car. The undercarriage of this car is completely detailed and is as clean as the top of the car. This car is extremely fast yet very well-mannered on the streets. It comes completely sorted out.
