Documented 442 in original rare Willow Green. The Oldsmobile 442 began in 1964 as the RPO BO9 option (Police Apprehender Pursuit Package) on F-85 Cutlass intermediates. In 1968 the 442 became its own separate model. The 1969 Olds 442s introduced a distinctive grille that became the bellwether design for all Oldsmobile grilles through 1972. As compared to their competitors, 442s were lauded by the press for great handling and good ride in conjunction with its considerable speed. There were 4,295

442 convertibles produced in 1969. This particular car, produced in the Fremont, CA plant, has less than 22,000 original miles, mileage not indicated on title. It has never been apart and is a matching numbers car. It has had one high-quality repaint, top and tires replaced, and normal maintenance performed according to the book. Otherwise, it is as it came from the Fremont assembly plant. The 400cid engine was rated at 325hp and 440 ft/lbs torque when the Turbo Hydramatic 3-speed automatic was fitted. This very rare Willow Green example has a white bench seat interior, automatic on the column, SSII wheels, original jack and owner's manual. Zero rust and dent-free.
