1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS CUSTOM

This outstanding Nova has been redone from end to end, top to bottom with no expense spared. The laser-straight body has been finished in a Beautiful two stage PPG Marina Blue then sanded and polished to a mirror finish. All the chrome and trim has been re-chromed or polished to a brilliant shine. The interior has been done in a contrasting black with bucket seats, power windows, Auto Meter gauges and of course Vintage Air for comfort. It sits on Foose wheels 17' on front and 18' on the rear. Under the hood is a 468cid engine that produces 540hp. It features a GM performance steel nitrated crank, T.R.W. 10.5 pistons, Comp cam along with Comp springs and rockers, ported Merlin heads, Edelbrock intake with a Holley 850 carburetor. Exhaust is routed through Hooker headers and silenced with Flowmaster Mufflers. The detail work under the hood features smooth firewall and is painted to match components Chrome Street and performance pulleys, and a serpentine belt kit. All this is coupled to a Tremec T 5 manual transmission. In the rear we have a GM12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 4-link suspension. It has Air Ride Technologies Ride Pro system with Shockwave components on all four corners allowing for touch button ride adjustment. You also have Global West control arms up front with Wilwood disc brakes and master cylinder. We have 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers out back with drilled and slotted rotors. 2014 Good Guys award winner.
