This breathtaking 1965 Mustang has been restored and detailed to an exceptionally high standard. The original, matching numbers 289cid V8 has been completely rebuilt and upgraded with an Edelbrock 4 barrel performance intake and 600cfm 4 barrel carburetor with pointless ignition. The newly rebuilt 289cid V8 is built .030 over with a new crank assembly, Lunati cam and has only 200 miles on it. There have been many improvements made to this iconic piece of history with no expense spared during the
restoration process. This Mustang has all new rear quarters and fenders, new floor pans, new frame rails and radiator support. The suspension is a Scott Drake front suspension with new shocks both front and rear. New front 4-piston caliper disc brakes, new gas tank and sending unit, new exhaust with Mac mufflers and trumpet tail pipes, all new Painless wire harness, new weather stripping, new carpet and padding, new dash pad, new gauge cluster including a tachometer and new updated retractable seat belts. New seat upholstery front and rear, new door panels and handles, new headliner and visors. Finished in Flame Red with over the top painted black stripes and side GT350 stripes. The rear deck lid has been fitted with an Eleanor trunk lid air dam and the front lower GT350 valance has been installed to complete the GT350 styling and functional dynamics. The body panels are straight and the paint is smooth with a deep high-gloss finish.
