Presented in factory-correct Poppy Red, this 1965 Mustang convertible is a superb example of the first full model year for Mustang production. This Mustang has known just three owners its whole life and it presents in excellent condition throughout. To complement the exotic Poppy Red exterior, this Mustang features a white softop with a new white/black Pony interior. The interior features bucket seats with center console, correct shifter, Rally Pack gauges and a Shelby-style wood rim steering
wheel. This Mustang also features 1967 Shelby 10-spoke wheels, replacing the original styled steel wheels. Under the hood is an A Code 289/225hp V8 engine. The 289 V8 is backed by a factory-correct 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. To enhance drivability, upgraded traction bars were added to cut down on wheel spin off the line. This Mustang runs and drives excellently.
