1962 FORD F-100 CUSTOM PICKUP

Details

This unibody short box has the ultra-rare panoramic cab option (big back window). It's finished in a beautiful metallic Tangerine color that appears orange in bright conditions and red in low light. During its complete custom build, the original frame rails were C-notched and then fully boxed. All new tubular cross members were fabricated and a TCI tubular Mustang II front suspension and 4-link rear suspension were installed. The frame is body worked and painted the same color as the interior

fabric. 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes fill the 20' Foose Nitrous II wheels that tuck way into the wells when the air suspension is deflated. The under mounted power brake booster leaves the firewall clean in this truck's flawless engine compartment. As well as a complete fabricated aluminum engine cover, inner fender wells and custom air intake set this engine bay apart. The 396 Ford Windsor stroker is outfitted with Kaase cylinder heads and makes 475hp on 87 octane gasoline. It's mated to a JW built Turbo 400 transmission with an Ultra Bell adapter. This combination allows strong automatic shifts without using a manual valve body. The truck has had two magazine features and won Best Truck of Show in the Calgary World of Wheels. It has received many first-in-class trophies and won best paint twice. It has only 40 test miles after its complete 2,000 hour build.
