Details
This '62 Fuelie Corvette has been owned by the same Corvette enthusiast for over 25 years and has been fully restored by noted Corvette restorer Bill Verboon in Hanford, CA. The car was fully disassembled in order to powder coat the frame, and the body was stripped of the aging original paint to be professionally refinished in correct Roman Red. All of the exterior brightwork was refinished or replaced and the body boasts excellent panel fit and gaps. The heartbeat under the hood is the solid
lifter 327cid Fuelie, which was professionally rebuilt and enhanced with custom-fabricated pistons, bored .030 over, balanced and blueprinted, resulting in an estimated 392hp. The engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and 4.11 posi-traction rear end. The Corvette also features a black softtop with matching black interior. Factory options include Signal-Seeking AM radio and factory heater, and the car rides on Firestone white wall tires with correct 15' wheels. This striking '62 Corvette has less than 1,000 miles driven since its every-nut-and-bolt frame off restoration.
