A remarkable 1956 Continental MK II with outstanding provenance. Its history is well-documented in writings, pictures and magazine articles. It has only had three prior owners since its delivery to Senator William H Mackenzie of New York in October 1955. One of the first MK IIs sold. Never used for regular transportation. Included is the biography that has been kept on this Mark II. Its second owner was John Ford, son in-law of the senator. This car has the original owner's manual, keys and
warranty card. Mileage records, special events documents, awards and trophies are a part of this vehicle's amazing history. The car has Senator Mackenzie's monogram on both doors. Original invoice from Ford Motor Company shows factory option of $70 for monogram and special painted wheels. This Mark II is equipped with every option available for 1956: 368cid engine, automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, power windows, power steering and brakes, power antenna and Town & Country radio.
