Details
Tahitian Sunset Red holographic color-shift urethane paint. Powered by a 2002 LS1 Corvette engine, with a set of custom-made chrome injector covers. 4L60 automatic transmission and a 9' Ford Currie rear posi-traction. Engine and transmission painted Dupont Imron Silver. Street and Performance custom chrome pulleys, accessories, fuel management and fuel injection harness. chassis painted black urethane. 4-wheel power disc brakes and power steering. Interior is a two-tone California tan leather and ostrich by J&J Upholsterers, with a matching billet steering wheel. Gauges are Haneline quad and 5' single tach. Power windows are Nurelic with tinted smoked glass and a one-piece windshield. Stereo system is a 7' Pioneer with CD and GPS, Alpine amplifier, Kenwood speakers and a 10' subwoofer under seat. The pickup bed is oak wood stained Ipswich Oak and polyurethaned with stainless bed strips. Bed body is new steel MAR-K bed. Under the bed is a custom stainless fuel tank and pump. Wheels are 17' chrome American TorqThrust II and are wrapped with Toyo Proxes 4 radial tires. Total build was $130,000. This truck was featured in Custom Classic Truck magazine, August 2012. The truck drives as good as it looks.
