1982 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ-40 SUV

This 1982 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser spent most of its life in Southern California prior to being transported to Iowa for a full frame-off restoration. This late model FJ-40 is unique because it is one of the very few that have both factory power steering as well as factory air conditioning. The entire vehicle was completely dismantled, appropriate parts were media blasted, the tub was soda blasted and starting with the powder coated frame it was reassembled to showroom condition. During reassembly all parts were either replaced with new OEM when possible or were refurbished to as new condition. The Factory correct 4.2 Liter 2F engine was totally rebuilt and balanced. This Land Cruiser has been painted with the factory correct Dune Beige. The interior is gray with all the original floor mats, door panels and front and rear jump seat upholstery. Included is the original tool bag and tools, spare tire jack and handles, and the Toyota mini trouble light that plugs into the glove box. The model 8274 Warn winch was part of this FJ-40 from its beginning. It has been restored as well and still sports its original labels with Japanese writing. The 6-spoke white wheels are OEM factory correct for 1982. The tires are the highly popular BFGoodrich AT 31x10.5x15. The only modifications from stock includes a 2 1/2' lift supported with heavy duty anti-inversion greaseable shackles.
