Frame-off restoration completed in 2011. All trim has been polished, re-chromed or new. Interior is new. Original Build Sheet was very helpful in restoration.
Details
Frame-off restoration was completed in 2011. The frame was sandblasted and painted. All new brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes and drums were also installed. All wheel bearings were also replaced with new. Engine was rebuilt with all new parts by OK engines in Lincoln, MN. It is a Flathead 6 cylinder and according to the manufacturer's tag on the seat base, it is rated at 68hp at 3,600rpm. There was no rust through, just surface rust and minor dents. All glass was installed. The body shop was
able to match the original color using modern paint and clear coat, thanks to the Build Sheet. All the interior is repainted and replaced with NOS materials and re-upholstered. The exhaust is also new. The pickup runs and drives excellent.
