Details
Coach built in Ford's Iron Mountain plant by skilled craftsmen using Ash, Maple and Basswood harvested from Ford's own forests in Northern Michigan. Just 8,730 were built in total. This Super Deluxe woody wagon is the recipient of a full show-quality restoration completed in the late 1990s and driven sparingly since. In the restoration, it received all new NOS Ford wood panels and refinished in its correct Folkstone Grey with tan all leather interior. Under the hood is the factory correct 221cid
Flathead V8 engine, which has been rebuilt and features upgraded vintage Fenton headers, backed by an 'on the tree' 3-speed manual transmission. This wagon was shown in the 2007 San Juan Islands Concours d'Elegance and has been in the same ownership for the past 15 years. Included with purchase are the original exhaust manifolds and heat shields, a file of woody information, photos of the car at the Concours and ownership history.
