'Mere Image' designed by Boyd Coddington. This stunning 1934 Ford began with the inspiration of Hot Rod legend Boyd Coddington. His plan was to design a world class exhibition vehicle, and in 1986, Boyd's vision was realized by winning Best of Show at the very prestigious Oakland Roadster Show. This all-metal body classic is a true display of design excellence and impeccable craftsmanship. Many of the body panels are hand-formed, as are the running boards, the highly modified cowl, windshield

and doors. A unique, one-of-a-kind grille insert compliments the stylish rich black lacquer paint with the House of Kolor fuschia accents. The high gloss black frame has been boxed with all welds ground smooth. Throughout this car, from the chassis to the engine accessories, there are numerous one-off anodized or chromed components, all of which tie into the main design theme. Power comes from 350cid small block Chevrolet and features a 4-bolt main block that has been fully surface-ground, de-burred and painted, and is mounted on a mirror-polished intake manifold. A hand-formed aluminum dash and center console separates the two comfortable bucket seats and nearly every interior surface was wrapped in black leather and trimmed out by Gabe's Custom Interiors. Wilwood disc brakes sit behind custom one-off billet wheels.
