convertible you see here was finished July 2, 1973, only three days from the end of the production run of Ford Motor Company convertibles which saw 25,177 cougar convertibles made during the 5-year run of Cougar convertibles. Only 4,449 were built in the 1973 model year. The rear stabilizer wing and functional GT hood scoop have been added for increased cosmetic appeal.
