This 1972 'Cuda was hand-built by Muscle Car Restorations in Chippewa Falls, WI and has been restored and modified to an extreme level with features that make this one-off Pro-Touring 'Cuda a show car of the highest standards. This beast features a supercharged SRT 6.1 Liter HEMI engine from PFC Enterprises linked to a Keisler-prepared T-56 Viper 6-speed manual transmission and completely trick rear end. The GS Motorsports/Paxton Novi 1500 supercharger with intercooler (10 PSI boost) results in
518hp at the rear wheels. More than 7,000 labor hours over a six-year period went into creating this ultimate Pro-Touring machine that features a host of carbon fiber components, all created by Muscle Car Restorations. The hood of the car is a one-off variation of the AAR 'CUDA hood, made purely from carbon fiber right down to the hood understructure/frame. The scoop has been deepened to give the car a more aggressive look and is fully functional with a carbon fiber cold air intake. The rear deck lid, spoiler and even the dash are all carbon fiber. Those weight reductions, when paired with the supercharged 6.1 Liter HEMI and T-56 Viper 6-speed make this 'Cuda a veritable killing machine. The car also features a competition-style roll cage tied into the custom tubular-steel frame chassis resulting in excellent rigidity and stability. 4-wheel power disc brakes and rack & pinion steering make for excellent handling and braking and contribute greatly to the all-round performance of the vehicle. The interior cockpit wraps the driver and his/her passenger completely in custom black leather with yellow accents. The Konig leather seats are form hugging and extremely supportive. The custom center console not only houses a carbon fiber finished pistol grip shifter, but the power window controls and has custom niches for the audio-video system remote control and an iPod. The in-dash receiver boasts a 7' widescreen display. Sources include: AM/FM/CD/DVD/DVD Audio/iPod. The complete rear seat area is filled with JL Audio amps and speakers. This is a truly outstanding 5.1 discrete surround system. A navigation unit is fitted, but is not currently active. Satellite radio is another available option. The carbon fiber dash is finished in a two-tone method - matte on the top to reduce glare and glossy elsewhere. The custom instrument cluster houses an array of AutoMeter Phantom gauges including a shift light. It has Vintage Auto Air to keep the occupants cool while the action heats up outside. The original '70 to '74 Plymouth and Dodge E-bodies were some of the most beautiful and iconic vehicles of the late muscle car era. The idea behind this 'Cuda was to meld classic muscle car styling while utilizing the latest and greatest parts available in today's aftermarket, resulting in even higher levels of performance, drivability and reliability than the originals.
