Details
The restoration was recently completed on this original looking customized 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super 20 3/4 ton, short box, 4-wheel drive, automatic with air conditioning. The frame and underside look as great as the body. It has a 350 small block fitted with 291 fuelie heads and mated to a 350 Turbo automatic transmission. Ceramic coated headers connect to custom made mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust tubes to feed the Flowmasters. The truck has Warn locking hubs and a Dana 44 front end
with a 205 transfer case. The rear end is the 3/4 ton 14-bolt. The 6' suspension lift was done with all springs and shocks, no cheap blocks. For safety, the fuel tank behind the seat in the cab was removed and a 21 gallon gas tank was installed under bed. The interior has a completely new factory tilt steering column, steering wheel with horn button, custom Classic Instrument cluster with new gauges (including the clock), all new carpet, new aircraft 3-point seat belts, new window felts and rubber, new windshield, all new Cool It heat and sound insulation throughout the cab and doors. The blue/black hounds tooth bench seat is original.
