One of 16 identical Mercury show and publicity cars. This car is known to be the Las Vegas show car. Optioned with the 429cid Cobra Jet 370hp engine, it features a 4 barrel Rochester Quadrejet, functional Ram Air intake, white comfort weave interior, white power top, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power seat, rare AM/8-track radio, tilt steering wheel and delay wipers. This car has been featured in Hemmings Muscle Machine magazine and American Muscle Car 'At the Sign of the
Cat' on SPEED Channel. Additionally, it was the class winner at the Mercury National, Cougar National and Ford Carlisle Nationals. Apart from being an early example, this is a rust-free Western car that spent its life on the West Coast until 2001 and was restored for the Ford 100th Anniversary Car Show. Less than 3,000 miles since total restoration. The car is documented with two different Eminger Reports, Marti Report, personal letter from Louis Eminger with list of serial numbers of the Show Cars, dyno sheet on motor build and photos and receipts of the restoration.
