1969 ZL-1 all aluminum 427 motor out of the Floyd Garrett Muscle Car Museum Collection. Floyd built this motor to put on display when he opened the museum in 1996. This is a complete motor with all internals and was built ready to install into a car. This is the 427/430hp version of Chevrolet's mark IV big block. Featuring 850 'double pumper' Holley carburetor, NOS transistorized ignition and internally regulated alternator. This is the Corvette version which was installed in only two
production cars during the 1969 model year. 69 similarly equipped 1969 Camaros also used this motor. This is a super rare Chevrolet block dated May 14, 1969. This is not a later and more common Yenko block. Also check out the broch marks on the deck pad. It doesn't appear to have ever had any numbers stamped on it. This motor also has several NOS parts on and in the motor. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE ONLY**
