Details
Award winning top dollar build with no expense spared. Car was recently brought out of a prestigious private collection with less than 80 miles since completion. It has been shown only a handful of times but has swept up awards at each event including First in Class at Goodguys Nationals and Best in Class, Best Engine, and Popular Hot Rodding Magazine Editors Pick at ISCA World of Wheels. The builder wanted to stay true to the original formula of high revving power in a lightweight package and
decided upon a Dart 445cid aluminum small block. It's the same motor that was used in the Rider and AMBR award winning 'Iowa Radster' and was built alongside it by the same team that produced that award winning engine. The aluminum block is fully polished for a beautiful appearance and comes dressed with a Jesel belt drive, polished AFR aluminum heads, Race Mate alternator and water pump, polished Hogan intake and chrome Demon carburetor. The car still retains its Muncie 4-speed. The engine bay is a show piece having been smoothed and finished to the same level as the exterior with the chrome reflecting off its gleaming paint. Perhaps the best example of the car's perfectionist detail is its underside where every component is painted, plated, or coated to create a stunning view. The suspension is completely chromed including the fabricated Ford 9' rear end, Heidts tubular A-arms, drive shaft and leaf springs. The headers and exhaust are Sanderson ceramic coated. The custom interior has a rich appearance yet still retains a stock feel. It's finished in white leather with custom stitched Daytona Ferrari style perforated inserts, carbon fiber dash, Autometer gauges, IDIDIT chrome tilt steering and push button start. Wheels are 20' rear and 18' front Billet Specialties wrapped in Nitto ZR rated tires with slotted and drilled Baer disc brakes all around. Truly one of the best Custom Camaros in the world.
